Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing outpatient practice in Chesterland, Ohio.

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and functional conditions. You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide hands-on and evidence-based interventions, monitor patient progress, and help patients return to the activities that matter most to them.

You will work alongside two experienced full-time Physical Therapists in a collaborative setting focused on quality outcomes and personalized patient care rather than high-volume treatment.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, diagnoses, and patient goals.
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Implement therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and other appropriate rehabilitation techniques.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercises, injury prevention, recovery, and home exercise programs.
  • Establish strong therapeutic relationships with patients and provide a positive patient experience.
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, support staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
  • Promote patient engagement, adherence to treatment plans, and successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented clinic culture.
  • Stay current with evidence-based physical therapy practices and continuing education.

Physical Therapist Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current Ohio Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Ohio licensure.
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
  • Orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred.
  • Manual therapy training and experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, evaluation, and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with patients.
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team.
